This house isn’t necessarily anything “special” but something about it made me stop. I think I could feel the 1855 vibes coming off of it somehow. I have a spidey-sense for that sort of thing. In the living room, those archway built-in shelves are so unique. The dead giveaway on this being a very old house are the headers above the door frames. They’re huge and I love them! Newer homes use much smaller door casings. The smaller ones just look cheap in my opinion. Large casings, headers, and moulding are favorites of mine.
