If you’ve ever been to Portland or the surrounding suburbs, you know how many adorable Craftsmans they have. Living in that region for most of my life, I’ve seen it firsthand. Most would think of the South or potentially the Northeast. But I’d say the Craftsman capital of the US is Portland. The dark hardwoods compliment the lighter colored walls and trim nicely in this house. It’s somewhat neutral but warm at the same time. Sometimes the neutrals will start to feel too sterile. Not in this house. I wouldn’t have expected this house to have a second floor balcony but it does. What a nice surprise!
