I love a nice corner lot! And this house is certainly the focal point of this street corner. It frames that front porch perfectly. What I love most about old houses is you get to see the artistry that was far more prevalent 100+ years ago. Houses were built to be beautiful, not just a box to live in. The staircase is a perfect example. Adding curvature to wood is very hard to do well. This was done masterfully. It leads up to a landing with two windows that overlook the front yard. I would certainly add 2 chairs and a little table to that spot. Overall, the house is a fixer upper but it has the features to be a crown jewel of the neighborhood.
